Unfortunately I Have To Go To New York
Yes, it is true. Before Mum gets too large and the airlines refuse to have her on a plane, The Parents have decided to take me to New York. Not the Florida Space Centre but New York where there is no Space Centre. But there we are. I will take some photographs of some interesting stuff and tell you about it. Here is a photograph I did not take but it looks quite good, so maybe it will be fun even without the Space Centre.

It will be fun, Wilf, but it will be cold. Dress for it.
Also, there is no space centre, but there is no end of interesting stuffs to occupy your attention and brilliant mind.
You may find inspiration for new inventions and have wonderful ideas.
Safe travels

Do have a wonderful time.
I suppose the New York Hall of Science might be OK, or the Rose Center for Earth and Space, or the Sony Wonder Techonology Lab.
Unfortunately mothers only seem to want to go to places like Bloomingdales or Saks.
New York - coo-oool! Way coool. Hope it's fun. Look forward to hearing about it all.
Ooh, New York - how very terribly exciting Wilf. There might not be a space centre but there are a few buildings that at least look like space rockets - for all you know they might in fact be alien spaceships and worthy of further investigation.
Don't think of this as unfortunate. Manhattan is beautiful, the buildings reach the sky, you could imagine some of them were spaceships...
Enjoy your trip!
Dear Wanderlust, it was hot and we had to actually buy thinner clothes. It was a brilliant place and the journey was fascinating.
Thankyou, Suzan, we really did have a good time, which was quite surprising to me.
Dear Dame Hon
We went to the Rose centre planetarium and saw a show called 'Cosmic Collisions'with Robert Redford doing the talking. Mum kept ducking, it was good.
We did go to Macys but Dad said it was like Debenhams and we did not stay long.
I will post up some photos soon, Jude- it was ace.
The buildings were fantastic, Atyllah, especially the lifts. The one in the Empire State building travels 70 floors in under a minute and carries 36000 people (spread out over a day, not altogether).
Yes, space rocket skyline, definitely, Vesper.
